My name is Greyson. Yes, I am a muscular 65-pound pit-bull. I am a friendly-dopey kinda guy and usually get picked on by the younger boy dogs here at Pets Return Home. I have no problem with that. I was young once, it is easy to ignore them, and they go away. I am not good with larger males. I tend to want to show them who is boss.

I love - just love humans. I love walking with them and being around them. I like the tummy and ear rubs. I need a crate to sleep in. I feel safe and am so used to having one.

I was a stray on the street and was rescued by a nice lady who brought me to Pets Return Home. I do have food aggression issues. I just do not like other dogs coming around my food bowl when I am eating. I am sure you do not like someone sticking his or her tongue and mouth in your plate when you eat too. So feeding me separately is a good thing.

I currently get along with 20 dogs here on the ranch. We have a lot of fun hanging out and hiking down by the river. There are so many of us here it is hard for me to get the loving I like. So if you would like to foster or adopt me forever – I would love to be your dog. I am a fun boy and listen very well.

Greyson is a beautiful blue nose pit who was a stray in Phoenix. He was fixed late so his bones and muscles are well developed. He is super sweet and loves his pack! He's a character, too; we've caught him pulling out blankets to make himself a bed and taking his food bowl into his house for safe keeping. He is a smart boy and gets along with most everyone; he will posture a bit with male dogs of his same size and age and sometimes gets possessive of food, but is fully responsive to commands like "hey" with which he stops and walks away. He has barked at strangers or those outside of a fence or gate but is friendly when they come in. He is leery of heights and hikes with climbing involved. A slow hike on a mellow trail is perfect for this beefy boy. His favorite time is sleeping on the couch or hanging in his crate with a big bone! Greyson is macho but dopey at the same time swaggering around, looking handsome, ready for LOVE!
