ANIMAL DESCRIPTION HEADER

My name is Tootsie! I am 8 months old (Aug 2022) Lab, shepherd, and a bunch of other stuff mix. I am a mixed-up gal! But unlike my sister Koko I am not going to be a big girl.

I love to hike, swim, and play all day. My mom was brought here when we were found living in an ice-filled culvert. There is a video too! A lady crawled up the culvert with a laundry basket and rescued my brother sister and me. My mom, Lucky followed us out. We were brought to Pets Return Home. They kept us warm, fed us lots of yummy food, and introduced us to another 50 dogs. We get to play with them ALL DAY. Everyday. It is so much fun!

My mom was shot through her throat and vocal cords by some mean person. So, she cannot bark at all. I do bark somewhat when playing but otherwise not much else gets me barking. I just love, love to be held and petted by humans. I am a wiggly but shaking endless ball of energy when I see my humans. I want them to pick me up, play with me, hug me, and give me yummy treats. I love the Pack Leader, Mark he is always chasing me around and calling me the goofiest gal ever. He gives me lots of treats because I am so good.

I get along with every dog here and will get along with others. I will love the kids in the family but might knock over the smaller ones. But training will help me not be so wiggly and jumpy. I would like to find a family soon. I do not want to grow up here because I will tend to always want to be around other dogs instead of humans.

All dogs and puppies:

• Are up-to-date on Rabies, Core Vaccinations, deworming and Microchipped with free-lifetime-registration.
• Receive behavior therapy and medical treatment.​
• Receive lifetime behavior support; we take returns with no fee or hassle.
• Most puppies have DNA results. For an extra fee, we can run DNA on adult dogs.
