My name is Hershey. I am a Chihuahua, Boston Terrier, Golden Labrador mix.  I am special!  I am a wonderful gal. My breed mix predisposes me to high anxiety. I love to hike, will swim if I have to and lay in my crate or house all day. 

I probably will get along with kids - but I don't trust them to understand and respect my peculiarities. So if you are a single person or a couple, especially older I will make you happy every day. 

I get along with other dogs. I have a weird habit that when I play with dogs or see my family members I get quite vocal and kinda hum and growl all at once. It is no aggression. I think it is my anxiety and need to have attention. I have met new dogs and I start my yodling and they just sniff and walk off. LOL. Humans look at me and wonder if I am being aggressive or just goofy. I am goofy for sure.

I am 6 to 7 years old and have some rules I need people to respect. I do not like anyone to grab my collar. The less I know you the quicker I will growl and bare my teeth to scare that person away. I am independent but love snuggling, massages, affection and treats - I LOVE treats!

Come see me - I want to love and can bring you love too. I listen well (just say treat and I am coming). I will be by the gate waiting. I am ready for a new home.
